The Spanoghe Grants Programme
ALL THE FUNDS FROM THIS PROGRAMME HAVE NOW BEEN ALLOCATED
What was the funding for?
The Trustees agreed that the criteria for this Programme would reflect their mission statement and also the interests of the donor in her lifetime.
The aim of the Programme was to build resilience and improve the mental health of children and young people, up to the age of 25, living in London. Grants were provided for various purposes including project costs, core costs, hardship funds, development costs or other purposes as long as a good case could be made for the request.
The Trustees were particularly keen to support work where
- there was a gap in statutory provision or funding
- it was more difficult to obtain funds or support
- the organisation could demonstrate excellence in their field of work
- the work had a demonstrable significant impact on the lives of children and young people
They also considered early intervention initiatives to prevent mental ill health and were particularly interested in supporting joined up approaches to care and holistic interventions.
THE TRUSTEES ARE SATISFIED THAT THEIR GRANT MAKING UNDER THIS PROGRAMME HAS ACHIEVED THE AIMS SET OUT ABOVE
