The Spanoghe Grants Programme
THE MOUNT FUND ONLINE APPLICATION FORM CANNOT BE USED TO APPLY TO THE SPANOGHE GRANTS PROGRAMME
Applications to the Spanoghe Grants Programme are by invitation only.
The Trustees will be inviting charities to apply to the Spanoghe Grants Programme for consideration at their June 2018 meeting. This is likely to be the final round of funding from this programme.
The Trustees have agreed a criteria for this Programme which reflects their mission statement and also the interests of the donor in her lifetime. Grants under this programme will be for sums up to £50,000.
The aim of the Programme is to build resilience and improve the mental health of children and young people, up to the age of 25, living in London. Grants will be provided for various purposes including project costs, core costs, hardship funds, development costs or other purposes as long as a good case can be made for the request.
The Trustees are particularly keen to support work where
- there is a gap in statutory provisions or funding
- it is more difficult to obtain funds or support
- the organisation can demonstrate excellence in their field of work
- the work has a demonstrable significant impact on the lives of children and young people
They will also consider early intervention initiatives to prevent mental ill health and are particularly interested in supporting joined up approaches to care and holistic interventions.
Charities selected to apply will be provided with a link to a dedicated application form. Shortlisted applicants will then be interviewed by independent assessors before the Trustees make a final decision on funding.
